Acne vs Me: Temple Spa (6 wks update)

TEMPLE SPA 6 WEEK UPDATE

I have continued using Temple Spa, sensitive skin range, for my daily facial routine and I am still happy with it.

Below: 6 weeks

into using Temple Spa cleanser 'BE GONE'  and serum 'BE STILL'

These images are taken a couple of days after having a week feeling run down with a virus and at the same time during my menstrual cycle, which combined, isn't good for the skin for most of us. Personally, I can still see a huge improvement.

Acne vs Me: Temple Spa (4 wks update) - breakout or not?

BREAKOUT OR NOT

I have been using Temple Spa BE GONE and BE STRONG for almost a month now. During this last week I had a breakout, which I must admit has been the first real one since starting this new routine.  I have already seen for myself how these amazing products help reduce inflammation and help clear old scarring, however after my little breakout I thought this is the time to put these products to the test and see how they handle my skin.

I must have had 4 large, under the skin spots coming up. Not pimples, more the lumpy, painful kind of spots. The ones that looked like they would stay around for a long time getting bigger and more inflamed as time went on, shouting out to everyone "hey look at me!", and I have to be honest after I thought my skin was finally clearing I got a little anxious as to whether I would be going backwards again.

RESULT....WOW!!

The result suprised me. I continued my routine as usual cleansing, washing away with warm water, wipe over with a warm cloth, then press the same cloth, but this time cold, over my face to close the open pores.

I had a breakout say...Wednesday night, today is Saturday and they have almost gone. They didn't get any bigger and they certainly did NOT get red and angry. They didn't even turn to the point when you think it is time to squeeze. You can't even see that a spot was trying to break out. If I press over the area I can feel a tiny bump under the skin but that is it.....THEY ARE NOT VISIBLE ANYMORE!

I am sharing this information with you in the hope that you can try these products for yourself. The range provide products for oily and combination skin, but for all these years I never knew that I would be using products for sensitive skin as I am today...

I visited a friend today and I told her about these amazing products and she looked at me and said "but you don't even have spots". She wouldn't have been able to say that to me 4 week ago.

Acne vs Me - beautiful make-up for acne prone skin

BAREMINERALS FOUNDATION

I have tried many different types of make-up and since changing my cleanser to Temple Spa 'BE GONE' (www.templespa.com/sarahfryer) I have changed my foundation too. Reviews are postive online for bareminerals, especially from people who are sufferers of acne prone skin. So I invested in some! You only need a small amount and it gives a nice light even coverage. Very natural and looks good. See the reviews for yourself :

When I purchased some, the sales lady recommended washing my make-up brushes on a weekly basis to prevent acne spreading. She said a simple baby shampoo will be good enough. I now have a fixed date in my routine where I will wash them.

I also think the Temple Spa BE STRONG serum used underneath the foundation gives a beautiful glow to my skin. It is fantastic to use for healing acne scars but also as a primer.
I personally wouldn't use any other foundation now, or at least until it gets to the point where I don't feel like I need the coverage. At that point I may invest in some tinted moisturiser.
